Academic Background

Mr Ivanov underwent his training in a renowned teaching hospital and national tertiary centre, Fundeni Clinical Institute for Digestive Diseases and Liver Transplant in Bucharest. He successfully completed the higher training in general surgery in 2011. His training covered a wide range of surgical interventions – from simple procedures to the most complex ones. This included interventions for various benign and malignant Upper and Lower gastrointestinal, as well as hepatic, pancreatic and biliary conditions. In 2010, Mr Bogdan Ivanov came to the UK where he had further training opportunities.
