Training & Background

Donna qualified in1993 from The University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. Donna worked in the private sector in South Africa, where her patients included elite long-distance athletes, rugby players and swimmers.

Since moving to the UK, Donna has worked for the NHS and private sector, including 5 years working as the first team physiotherapist for the local rugby club. Donna has special interests in end-stage rehabilitation of the knee and shoulders to return to sport. Donna is Pilates trained with Dance Medicine Australia and is also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP). Donna is trained in Phototherapy to treat skin diseases using ultraviolet light.

Outside of work, Donna enjoys all sport, regularly goes to the gym and is a keen skier.
